Decided the lawn needed mowing today, so Tyler and I hopped on the tractor and took care of it. By then it was pretty hot so we went to get ready to go to the beach. Had to pick up sunscreen at the Job Lot and then since Marshall's was right there, we had to go check that out to see if there were any good sports gear, picked up a Red Sox shirt for Tyler. Then over to the Christmas Tree Shops, no great deals but I love hitting it up whenever we're in town.
Went to Sandy Point Beach, the kids had a blast, they found hermit crabs, and jelly fish, played with some new friends. Was surprised how much they liked it there, nice and calm water so dad had it pretty easy watching the boys. Didn't have to worry about rogue waves coming up and knocking the boys over. Tyler got frustrated about not being able to swim so he decided to come in and took a nap for over an hour.
Did a great job sunscreening the boys and they didn't get burned at all :) Good homemade pizza tonight, now a really nice summer rainstorm with some thunder and lighting. Good end to the day.
