Another remarkably cool day in Rhode Island, the temps are in the 70's, feels really good with a nice breeze to make things perfect. We decided to hit the beach again, the sun came out just in time as we arrived there, so we had good warmth while there. The boys love hunting for crabs and jellyfish and would be happy to do that all day. Sandy Point is calm, but the water is really warm, just a nice little beach, I'm glad I don't have to deal with the surf of the bigger beaches.
We went to see the Pawtucket Red Sox tonight, I haven't been to McCoy stadium in 15+ years, it's a really nice place to watch a game. We met up with Charlie Mottinger and his 2 boys Ethan and Alex. Ethan and Jayson are the same age but Ethan towers over J, and J isn't short, he is gonna be a really tall kid. The 2 boys got along really well, they spent part of the game hunting for foul balls. Was really good to catch up with Charlie.
It was replica jersey giveaway night, unfortunately we got there too late to get one, but after the game as we were heading out the exits I spotted one under a seat, and someone had given hers to Jayson, so we just needed one more for Tyler, Ethan to the rescue he found one under a seat as well.
The Sox won 3-2, Carl Crawford was there on a rehab stint, he did really well. The ride home was uneventful, the car just needed a fuse swapped out and everything worked just fine. Carrie and Geoffrey are here, so the boys will have fun with their cousin and aunt over the weekend.
